Our paper reported an association between cortical GABA concentration and sensory hypersensitivity in ASD is opened in Frontiers in Neuroscience !

Our new paper reported that lower GABA concentration in ventral premotor cortex (vPMC) associated with stronger experiences of sensory hypersensitivity only in ASD but not TD. This finding might relates our previous study reported that stronger neural activation in vPMC was found to be involved in neural correlats of temporal processing of sensory stimuli (Ide et al., 2020, Front Neurosci).
